Will Rio's Bandits allow the Olympics

Another bus was torched in Rio de Janeiro on the morning of Thursday. The fire started around 8:15 a.m., on the street Caxambu between the districts of Miranda Richardson and Irajá, north of Rio there are no reports of injuries. Firefighters are on site.
The overall balance of the attacks since Sunday (21) so far is 27 dead and 46 vehicles burned, counting on the buses burned this morning. Nine fires occurred between 20 h of the night on Wednesday (24) and early morning hours today.
ATTACKS
The criminal attacks on vehicles were most intense on Wednesday night and early hours of Thursday. Two cars burned in the early dawn today raised to 45 the number of cars set ablaze since Sunday (21).
In one case during the afternoon, a van carrying 14 people was set alight by two men before the passengers leave the vehicle. Four people had minor burns.
In another, a bus burned in Vicente de Carvalho (North), was found a note: "If they continue the UPP, and will not have Cup or Olympics."
